I went back and tried some of the featured topics and came away just as underwhelmed when it comes to getting specific usable answers to questions, but I did garner a slightly different perspective of the service. I think it can be incredibly useful if you have no clue about a topic and need to get pointed in the right direction. The pros/cons section gives pretty good food for thought when it comes to dealing with further evaluation of a result provided by hunch. Criticizing those topics is like criticizing pages on Wikipedia that were created 2 days ago and not yet complete. There is a featured topics section on Hunch which is a much better place to start if you want to evaluate the system's potential.
